This hand forged chopper mimics the shape and function of the Ulu, a knife the northern indigenous Yup’ik, Inuit and Aleut utilize in every day life both historically and presently. The ulu is a multi-purpose kitchen knife, cutting cheese, herbs, veggies, pizza, and much more! Each piece is stamped on the back with the artist’s signature touch-mark, comes with a handmade Birdseye maple chopping bowl and cutting board wax.

Care: This knife is finished with an environmentally friendly clear coat, but if exposed to prolonged moisture, the carbon steel will rust. Hand wash, dry promptly and oil the sharp edge with food safe oil after cleaning to prevent rust. Care card included.
