This hand forged chopper mimics the shape and function of the Ulu, a knife the northern indigenous Yup’ik, Inuit and Aleut utilize in every day life, both historically and presently. The ulu is a multi-purpose kitchen knife, cutting cheese, herbs, veggies, pizza, and much more! All the artists knives are named after her favorite places in the North Country. Each piece is stamped on the back with the artist’s signature touch-mark, comes with a stand, and is finished with an environmentally friendly clear coat. Hand wash and oil the edge with food safe oil after cleaning to prevent rust.
